Activision and Vivendi
Santa Monica?based Activision, maker of the stunningly popular video game Guitar Hero, has agreed to merge with France’s Vivendi in a deal valued at nearly $19 billion. It is one of the largest deals to date involving a Los Angeles?based company, says Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom partner Brian McCarthy, who represented Activision.
