The Stanley Works v. Wichita Falls ISD

In this case involving a tax abatement agreement, Stanley Works appeals from a judgment entered in favor of Wichita Falls ISD. Texas Tax Code §33.05 is inapplicable because the statute only applies to suits to collect delinquent taxes and not to breach of contract. The trial court's judgment is reversed and remanded in part and affirmed in part. El Paso Court of Appeals, No. 08-11-00015-CV, 04-25-2012.

OPINION

The Stanley Works d/b/a Stanley Mechanics Tools appeals from a judgment entered in favor of Wichita Falls Independent School District. We affirm in part, reverse in part and remand to the trial court for entry of judgment in accordance with this opinion.
