When Sheila Statlender began work 11 years ago as a student life counselor at Harvard Law School, the questions from women law students embarking on their job interviews were considerably different from what they are today.
“When I started, they asked if they should wear their engagement rings to the interview,” she said. “Now, I have students asking if they should ask the [interviewing] law firm about their pregnancy leave policies.”
