Abortion-rights groups are preparing for battle in New Jersey, a state that has long been friendly to their views. The reason is Bret Schundler, who last month won the Republican gubernatorial nomination. Schundler opposes abortion even in cases of rape and incest. And though he says he wouldn't try to move the state toward any policy its residents do not support, pro-choice activists are getting ready for a fight.
