Edwards v. United States (Summary)

The court affirmed a father's conviction for second-degree murder in the scalding death of his young daughter, and held that the father failed to prove that his counsel was ineffective because defense counsel made a tactical decision not to present evidence of a defense of accident or lack of intent.
