The Arizona Supreme Court is asking Big Four firm KPMG for more details on its bid to deliver legal services in the state, a spokesperson for the court confirmed Tuesday.
The state’s justices met earlier in the day, two weeks after the high court’s Committee on Alternative Business Structures heard testimony from representatives of KPMG Law US, a subsidiary of KPMG US, about their plans to offer legal services to Arizona clients. Following testimony, the committee unanimously recommended that the high court approve an application by KPMG Law US LLC to operate a law firm in the state.
