McDermott Will & Emery is expanding its litigation team in Miami with the rehire of a commercial litigator who spent more than a year as an assistant county attorney with Miami-Dade County.

Audrey Pumariega rejoins the firm as a partner after getting hands-on experience with the county handling personal injury cases, which usually involved some health care component. Before her time with the county, Pumariega worked at McDermott for more than nine years, rising from an associate to a partner.
