The defamation lawsuit filed by President-elect Donald Trump against ABC News and “This Week” anchor George Stephanopoulos ended Saturday in a settlement agreement, the day after a federal judge ordered both Trump and Stephanopoulos to sit for depositions.

As per the agreement, ABC and Stephanopoulos agreed to pay $15 million toward a Trump library/museum, pay $1 million toward Trump’s attorney fees for work led by Miami lawyer Alejandro Brito, and they have agreed to a written “clarification.”
