Kirkland & Ellis and Freshfields are each set to earn many millions of pounds through their work leading the £5.4 billion sale of Hargreaves Lansdown to a private equity conglomerate.

In June, news emerged that the U.K. financial services company was being acquired by a company called ‘Harp Bidco’, an acquisition vehicle formed by private equity firms CVC Private Equity Funds, Nordic Capital XI Delta, and Platinum Ivy, according to a document published to the London Stock Exchange.
