Dentons saw revenue increase by 10% for the most recent six-month period, while profits jumped by 24%. Simmons, meanwhile, said fee income had increased by 16% compared to the equivalent period last year.

    Denton Wilde Sapte chief executive Howard Morris has been handed a second three-year term at the helm following an uncontested election. His new term will start in February 2008. Partners at the top 20 City law firm were asked in September to put their names forward if they wished to stand against Morris.
