    CC, Weil and Bakers field London teams on $1.3bn private equity deal

    Clifford Chance (CC), Weil Gotshal & Manges and Baker & McKenzie have advised on a $1.3bn (£829m) private equity deal which has seen buyout house Silver Lake and investment management firm Partners Group agree to purchase Swiss duty free shopping company Global Blue, reports The Am Law Daily. Silver Lake and Partners Group will buy Global Blue from investment firm Equistone Partners Europe, which acquired the Nyon, Switzerland–based company from Apax Partners in 2007 for about $450m (£287m).
