The firm is taking on Ben Rodham, who is a managing associate at the magic circle firm, where he has worked with clients including Bridgepoint, Carlyle, Hg Capital, Montagu and Terra Firma. He has also spent time Linklaters' Dubai and Hong Kong offices.

    Line-up of law firms win places on long-awaited Government super-panel

    Eversheds, Ashurst and DLA Piper are among more than 25 law firms appointed to the long-awaited Government Procurement Service (GPS) legal panel following the conclusion of a lengthy and much-delayed review. The overhaul of the panel – formerly known as Catalist – was originally launched in September 2010 in a bid to reduce Whitehall's legal spend and cut back the number of firms used by Government departments.

    Addleshaw Goddard has bolstered its finance services team with the hire of Olswang regulatory partner Brian McDonnell. McDonnell will join Addleshaws early next year after almost five years at Olswang. He was previously a regulatory lawyer at the London Stock Exchange, and also spent 10 months on secondment at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
