Reed Smith has pulled the plug on its 15-lawyer Newark office, as the firm turns its attentions to the international market. The four-partner Newark branch - which opened in 1966 - will close next year, with its occupants expected to relocate to the US national firm's nearby bases in Princeton and New York. The 57-lawyer Princeton office opened in 2002 and is home to much of the firm's life sciences and product liability groups.
