    Simmons wins role on Secure Trust's AIM listing

    Simmons & Simmons has taken a first-time role for Secure Trust Bank on the retail bank's Alternative Investment Market (AIM) listing. The listing, announced on 28 October, has seen the fast-growing lender raise £25m, valuing it at £102m. The deal also handed a role to Norton Rose, which acted for Hawkpoint Partners, the nominated adviser, and Collins Stewart, the broker.

    Fee income at Pinsent Masons up 6% over first half of year

    Pinsent Masons has become the latest firm to announce its half year financial results, posting a 6% increase in revenue for the first half of 2011-12. The UK top 20 firm's total fee income for the first six months of the year stood at £105m, up 6% from the figure of £98.3m posted during the first six months of last year.
