    Pinsent Masons and DLA Piper are on the hunt for new London premises, becoming the latest national law firms to review their City presence.The two firms are actively looking for new premises in the City, with Pinsents hoping to unite its two offices - currently in Finsbury Square and Clerkenwell - under one roof, while DLA Piper is looking at a number of options for its London presence, including new office space. It is understood that if the firm does not go for entirely new premises it would have to have two locations in the City.

    The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has scored a victory in the High Court against some of the City's top law firms regarding the fees charged by banks for unauthorised overdrafts. Mr Justice Andrew Smith ruled today (24 April) in favour of the OFT, which argued that the charges are subject to the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999.
