    Beachcroft is to outsource all its front-office functions in Bristol to services provider Intelligent Office UK, as the national firm prepares to transfer to new office space in the southwest city next year. The move will see five staff, including those manning the firm's reception and meeting rooms, transferred to Intelligent Office, with two further staff members set to join the team onsite.

    Simmons, Dentons in double-digit H1 growth

    City firms Denton Wilde Sapte and Simmons & Simmons have announced double-digit growth in turnover for the first half of the financial year. Dentons saw revenue increase by 10% for the most recent six-month period, while profits jumped by 24%. Simmons, meanwhile, said fee income had increased by 16% compared to the equivalent period last year.

    CC matches City pace with 18% H1 growth

    Magic circle giant Clifford Chance (CC) is the latest to report its half year results with the firm announcing an 18% rise in H1 turnover for 2007-08, taking its revenue for the period up to around £680m. The percentage increase matches that of fellow magic circle firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and is ahead of arch City rival Allen & Overy, which recorded a 16% increase in turnover. The results put those firms' revenues for the period at £560m and £456m respectively.
