Indeed, on one hand, from the perspective of an independent observer, it could look as if every leading law firm in the UK has a sector group claiming expertise in manufacturing, financial services, technology and so on.

The UK's top law firms have posted a robust set of half year results, with 18 out of 19 firms to have announced their figures so far unveiling double-digit revenue growth. The results (see table below) show no less than seven firms posting turnover increases of 20% or more compared to the equivalent period last year.

CC is currently reforecasting the second half of the year after revealing that it is significantly up on the same period last year.
