    Cadwalader recruits new IP head from boutique

    New York law firm Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft has hired Christopher Hughes from intellectual property (IP) boutique Morgan & Finnegan to head its IP group. Hughes, who will join the firm's Manhattan HQ, has more than 30 years' experience in patent, trade secret and trademark litigation. The firm also recently drafted in Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson antitrust partner Charles Rule as competition head in the firm's Washington DC branch.
