    Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance and Linklaters have been ranked top of project finance league tables announced this week.According to Dealogic tables for legal advisers on 2006 global project finance deals, the three firms finished top after advising on a combined total of 139 transactions.

    Barlow Lyde & Gilbert has hired Latham & Watkins commercial and technology associate Andrew Giverin and Allen & Overy commercial litigation associate Maurice Kenton to join the firm as partners. Giverin joins in the wake of the resignation of a four-partner outsourcing team which quit Barlows for Bird & Bird late last year. He specialises in the IT and financial services sectors. Kenton specialises in Lloyds and international markets and insurance disputes.
