We are pleased to present our 2019 D.C. Rising Stars. Selected from a competitive pool, our 40 honorees represent a cross-section of practice areas—from appellate to bankruptcy to international trade. They’ve excelled on some of the biggest stages. One honoree led a team that closed an $18.5 billion fund. Another secured the first public exemption granted to a non-governmental organization by the U.N. Security Council from its North Korea sanctions. And a third helped defeat summary judgment in a widely covered gender discrimination case against a large law firm.
