Two former Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld partners have branched off, with each starting his own lobbying shop in recent months.
Both lawyers say they are continuing to work with clients from Akin, including some large corporations and influential organizations. Their client rosters reflect how small firm lobbying shops can launch or thrive, even as big firms like Akin and Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck bring in the most lobbying revenue per year.
