Cynthia Marie Chapa, running for Place 3 on the Fourth District Court of Appeals, is unopposed in the Democratic Party primary, but two Republicans are up for consideration to challenge her.
Todd McCray, solo practitioner in San Antonio, is in the contest against Michael J. Ritter, senior counsel in the Schmoyer Reinhard firm. Chapa is currently presiding judge of the 288th District Court.
