A Yetter Coleman and Haynes Boone pro bono legal team is asking the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit to reconsider en banc a three-judge panel’s order removing the judge overseeing child abuse allegations against Texas.

In a petition for rehearing, the plaintiffs also argue the panel erred in vacating a civil contempt fine U.S. District Judge Janis Jack of the Southern District of Texas entered against the Health and Human Services Commission and Department of Family and Protective Services.
