Acting U.S. Attorney General James McHenry chose Nicholas J. Ganjei, chief counsel to U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, to be U.S. Attorney of the Southern District.
In addition to working for Cruz, Ganjei was on staff for the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution, where he oversaw all legal matters related to criminal justice, border security, judicial nominations, antitrust, intellectual property and religious liberty.
