U.S. Attorney Gerard Karam of the Middle District of Pennsylvania is joining Stevens & Lee as shareholder and co-chair of the firm’s white-collar defense and investigations group, effective Jan. 27.
Karam served as U.S. attorney beginning in June 2022, leaving the office on Jan. 10 to make way for President Donald Trump to select his own nominee for the position. As U.S. attorney, Karam helped launch the Middle District’s e-litigation unit, civil rights unit and appellate division.
